Einmal Zukunft und zurück - Buchvorstellung für Kinder

There are many predictions about the future. But how certain is it that they will come true? After all, 50 years ago people thought that we would be traveling in flying cars by now. So it's not easy to predict the future. Nevertheless, author and journalist Christoph Drösser dares to take a look into the world of tomorrow's children.

The next solar eclipse is sure to come. It can be calculated precisely. But as soon as humans come into play, predicting the future is suddenly no longer so easy. The human world is developing far too rapidly for that.

In his book, Christoph Drösser focuses on the lives of children in the future. How will they play, learn and get from A to B in ten, twenty or even fifty years' time? Will a robot perhaps do their homework? At Futurium, he presents his book, illustrated by Gareth Ryans and published by Gabriel-Verlag, to all curious children. And he reveals which scenarios are convincing and which remain rather unlikely.

>Christoph Drösser: For many years, he was an editor in the knowledge section of "Die Zeit" and now works freelance for various German newspapers, online media and radio stations. He has written five children's books in recent years. In 2021, he received the German Youth Literature Prize together with illustrator Nora Coenenberg for the bestseller "100 Children". His new book "Einmal Zukunft und zurück", illustrated by Gareth Ryans, will be published by Gabriel-Verlag in March 2025.
