Lonely, shy, still unkissed at the age of 44 - disappointed by life, Bernhard is determined to kill himself. Then there's a knock at the door. A man with a moustache, a turtleneck sweater and a pistol stands in front of it and aims at Bernhard, who is taken by surprise. It's Death himself, who has his first day at work today and wants to pick Bernhard up. But it's not that easy, because Death is acting rather clumsily and unprofessionally. He involves Bernhard in an absurd dialog full of jokes and corny jokes; they both mess up the planned suicide. A call from a "higher authority" finally clarifies the situation: Death has made a mistake about the floor - he is expected one floor higher by Clara, who is tired of life ...

This pitch-black comedy by Matthieu Delaporte, the co-author of "The First Name", is nevertheless also a light-hearted comedy: After one hour and 22 minutes, you know what's worth living for.
