El Tauscho - Tausch- und Verschenkemarkt

El Tauscho is, or rather was, known in the Neustadt: as a cupboard. As an exchange cupboard. People who no longer need things and don't want to throw them away leave them with people who want to reuse them. A great, sustainable principle, which is transferred to a small market on the square in front of the scheune.

How does it work?
Things can be deposited at the "flea market stands" we have already set up (under pavilions and therefore rainproof) and / or taken away if required. Both free of charge. A permanent presence on site is not absolutely necessary, but of course a chat between people at the "stand" is still possible.
The offer is not curated. So you can take everything off for the time being. There will be coat racks for clothes and a pinboard for larger items of equipment or furniture. There is little point in carrying a sofa around the neighborhood if the potential next user might live two floors below. And waste that deserves this designation should only be disposed of via appropriate channels and not dumped in public. Appeal to common sense: Please only offer things that really work or can be reused! If there are still items left over that are not taken by other people, you do not need to collect them. We will take care of the further process in a multi-stage procedure (sorting, forwarding to the DRK clothing store and similar places, disposing of remaining residual waste).

Selling is excluded, this is an exchange and give-away market. Not a flea market in the classic sense! No food! No bulky waste dump! Actually quite simple.
