The fascination of space is linked to the big questions of our existence: our origins and our future. Marveling at the incomprehensible, the infinite - space. This is exactly what electronic music is all about. No other musical genre represents space so perfectly, points beyond the usual structures and forms and searches for utopias, both musically and on a socio-cultural level: electronic music stands for an attitude to life of freedom and unity, it knows neither exclusion nor demarcation and pulsates without gender segregation. Building on this spiritual foundation, Electric Lights focuses on the energy and power of women in electronic music: their passion, their experiences and their unique artistic perspectives. In an extraordinary DJ & live set series, some of these female artists will perform together with the photographer herself at Planetarium Hamburg.

This time it's Joyce Muniz, who began her career as a DJ and MC, became known as a singer, dedicated herself to music production and was the first woman to perform with orchestras across Germany as part of the Synth Live project. She travels the world as a DJ and her releases can regularly be found in the Beatport charts. We are very much looking forward to hearing her DJ set in the Full Dome of the Planetarium Hamburg.
