Electra has been mourning her father and former king Agamemnon for 15 years.
Electra has been living under the same roof as his murderers for 15 years.
For 15 years, Electra has cursed the perpetrators, her mother and her lover and current king Aegisth, who rules tyrannically.
Electra has been waiting for 15 years for her brother Orest to return and avenge their father's murder. Now it has arrived: the long-awaited day of revenge.
Elektra is a victim, a heroine, a perpetrator. Beyond her desire for revenge and its price,
this tragedy tells of the responsibility of every human being for their actions.
