Nana arrives in a town on the edge of Saxony that has been heated up by the election campaign and is full of returning women, founders on the move who are fighting for their East German homeland. As a coach in Grenzlitz, she wants to strengthen Katja Stötzel, the candidate for the Green Party of the Future. But she is kept at a distance. She finds understanding from someone on the far right, Falk Schloßer. When the situation comes to a head and Katja Stötzel is threatened because everything seems to be escalating, she has to make a decision: Which side am I actually on? Who is serious about humanity?

Elsa Koester was born in Berlin in 1984, the daughter of a French Pied-noir with a Tunisian colonial history and a North German Frisian with an American emigration history, where she lives today. She is a political journalist and deputy editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper Der Freitag.
