Konzert: Elsdeer / Support: From Major to Minor

Elsdeer is one of those artists who cannot be pigeonholed, but live somewhere between genres - where indie folk meets sonic openness and the narrative lives not in phrases but in nuances. Her music: a fine weave of acoustic intimacy, instrumental polyphony and quiet cosmopolitanism.

She has been on the Berlin scene since 2019, but has actually been playing on a larger stage for a long time - both geographically and emotionally. Concerts have taken her to California, Ireland, France, Japan and Thailand - and yet her music never sounds like wanderlust kitsch, but like lived experience. Every note is a place, every lyric an inner space.

With her debut album Namara, released in 2024, Elsdeer made a quietly sparkling statement: about the beauty of the unagitated, about memories that feel like landscapes, and about the art of staying in the now without losing sight of tomorrow. She is currently working on a new EP - but her songs are never created out of calculation, but out of movement.

The evening will be opened by From Major to Minor - the musical alter ego of Arndt Jansen and his friends. Sometimes alone, sometimes in a collective, somewhere on the A2 between Düsseldorf and Berlin. As the name suggests, their music oscillates between major and minor, between everyday life and outbursts, between simple honesty and quiet irony. Singer-songwriter pop with open windows, which asks rather than asserts and still lingers.
