This is a very special project! For the first time, the multi-Grammy award-winning WDR Big Band under the direction of MICHAEL LEONHART (Steely Dan; Michael Leonhart Orchestra) will perform with one of the greats of pop and rock history: ELVIS COSTELLO.
The two-time Grammy winner Costello (1998 together with Burt Bacharach for the song "I Still Have That Other Girl" and 2019 for his 30th album "Look Now") is a member of the "Songwriter's Hall Of Fame" and the "Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame".

Under the direction of the great arranger Michael Leonhart, Elvis Costello presents songs from his repertoire. All songs were specially arranged by Michael Leonhart for this project and the WDR Big Band. "Special guests for this program are Wolfgang Haffner (drums), Simon Oslender (keyboards) and Thomas Stieger (bass).
