My Armenian Songbook - A Personal Journey with Friends by Aren Emirze

Being at peace with yourself is not always easy. You can know who you are and you can know where you come from. Merging the two is the art. Aren Emirze, the musician, the Armenian, the German - in search of his Armenian roots, he encounters great singer-songwriting. Stylistic elements of Armenian folklore give rise to quiet, melancholy and fragile songs that hover between worlds and genres. On this evening in Frankfurt's Brotfabrik, under the motto *Armenian Songbook*, old Armenian poetry will merge with new compositions, and traditional Armenian songs will shine in a new light.

Together with his daughter Veron and guitarist Rolf Bussalb, Aren Emirze will embark on a musical journey that tells of his roots - from Armenia to Germany, from the past to the present. Friends and companions will accompany him on this evening and bring the music of Armenia to life with us.

A special highlight of the evening will be the live presentation of songs from Aren Emirze's latest album LEZOON, which will fit harmoniously into the program and illustrate the multifaceted nature of his musical journey.
