Emma Campàs

Emma Campàs was born in Spain and is currently studying classical guitar at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf thanks to a scholarship. Although she is only 23 years old, she has already won several prizes and has performed in many European countries. She will be in Hamburg in June to lead a workshop as part of the Hamburg Guitar Days. We are taking this opportunity to present Emma Campàs at the Kulturhaus with an extraordinary program consisting of masterpieces from the Spanish guitar repertoire. On the one hand, we will hear composers of Spanish nationalism such as Albéniz, Turina, Tàrrega and Falla. On the other hand, works of flamenco guitar music such as bulerías, granaínas and malagueñas will be presented.

Emma Campàs will also perform popular Spanish songs for guitar and voice.
