Ensemble Night: Posaunen, Saxofone, Schlagzeug

Bone Zone: What's better than a trombone? Four trombones! From the trombone section of the big band, Prof. Dan Gottshall develops a very special kind of ensemble sound together with his instrumental class Jazz Trombone and an energetic rhythm section. With so much "bone" power on stage, the back-and-forth trumpets perform two sets full of wonderful harmonies and wild dissonances - and above all a tight section sound that you rarely get to hear. Saxophone ensemble: The ensemble explores different transcriptions for saxophone through the centuries. Together they explore the different styles of musical heritage from the Renaissance to the present day. Percussion Ensemble: The newly founded percussion ensemble of the Jazz Department of the HfMT Hamburg, under the direction of Daniel Hansen, presents itself to the audience for the first time today with a stimulating and varied program. The four young percussionists play pieces ranging from minimal music to marching drums and thus enter a chamber music space beyond the jazz drum set. Let yourself be inspired by exciting sounds and rousing rhythms.
