In the organizer's words:

Formed in 1995 and now a 6-member band, three original members - Manabu Nakagawa (Ba), Nobukata Kawai (Gu), and Tetsuya Fukagawa (Vo, Key) - alongside three new support members - y0shi (Gu), Yoshimitsu Taki (Gu), and Hiroki Watanabe (Dr). The band has released its 7th full album, "The Fallen Crimson," with their new lineup in February 2020 and released a live album in November 2020 (performed at Tokyo Liquidroom/JP). In October 2022, the band released a 10" EP, "Seimei," and toured in the EU (9 countries, 16 shows). In October 2024, the band released its 8th full album, "Eunoia." envy has continuously played at festivals such as HELLFEST (FR), FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL (JP), and All Tomorrow's Party (UK) and has performed with various bands such as Explosions in the Sky, CONVERGE, DEAFHEAVEN, MOGWAI, and ISIS. envy played HELLFEST'22 / Valley Stage Headliner (cap. 15,000p).
