Description "Nobody pushes us away" (feature film, 2018):

Women should earn the same as men? That was unheard of in the 1970s! Until the "Heinze women", employees of a photography company in Gelsenkirchen, changed that. When they took their case for equal pay to the Federal Labor Court in 1981 - and won - they caused a nationwide stir. Keiner schiebt uns weg tells the fictional story, based on the "Heinze women", of three female employees of the Kunze photo company in Gelsenkirchen, who pave the way towards 'equal pay' with a great deal of Ruhrpott assertiveness and solidarity among women, as was typical in these times of the women's movement. Incidentally, the title of the film goes back to a fight song by black peace activist Fasia Jansen, who supported the women musically at the time.
