Support your CircusDanceFestival!
With a FUNDING CARD

The Cologne CircusDanceFestival, one of the most innovative festivals for contemporary circus and dance in Germany, is currently facing financial challenges. Due to a general increase in production costs, inflation, a year without federal funding and declining public funding, the current funding gap for the upcoming edition cannot be completely closed.

A special feature of the festival and at the same time a financial challenge is its location: the festival site extends largely over a public park area (An der Schanz, directly at the foot of the AXA Tower) without any existing infrastructure, which adjoins the Latibul circus grounds. This means that the infrastructure with stages, technical equipment, water connections etc. has to be rented in its entirety and only set up for the festival.
Around 50-70% of the festival program is designed as a "free & open-air" offer on the park grounds and is accessible to all visitors free of charge.

The CircusDanceFestival can only continue to exist with the support of the community. It will continue to rely on public funding, but will also develop new funding channels and collaborations. Any help, however small, will help to maintain the festival as an important place for innovation, artistic exchange and freely accessible culture in Cologne.

One direct way to support is the "Enabling Card". You choose the amount and send it directly to the festival.

It is important to note that the card is not linked to an event, but enables the realization of the festival and that many people can benefit from art and culture at the festival free of charge.
