How do you become an artist? Do talent, role models, guidance, practice count? Studying at a popular art academy with the right professor? The Kunsthaus NRW is dedicating a major exhibition to the subject of art learning and teaching: on May 10, we are opening "Class Relations. Teachers, learners, artists" and cordially invite you to attend!

The exhibition examines the relationship between teachers and students at the local art academies using around 100 works from our own collection. It extends across all the exhibition rooms of the Kunsthaus and out into the sculpture garden.

It starts at 3 pm, admission is free as always - we look forward to seeing you there!

15:15 Introduction: Dr. Marcel Schumacher, curator of the exhibition
16:30: Podium - Marcel Schumacher in conversation with lecturers from the state's four universities
The Kunsthaus is open from 12 noon, the exhibition closes at 6 pm.
