New opening in Bremen-Hemelingen: Lena's Wollstube - a creative place for knitting enthusiasts with a sustainable focus

Knitting is more than just a craft - it connects generations, creates space for creativity and relaxation. This is exactly what Lena Wallossek-Kreß wants to achieve with her Wollstube in Bremen-Hemelingen. On Sunday, April 5 from 12 noon, she will open Lena's Wollstube at Brüggeweg 40 and invites all knitting enthusiasts to celebrate this special place with her.

For over 40 years, the store was known as Anke Heyn's "Wollstube". Now it is being reopened with fresh ideas. In addition to a large selection from Lana Grossa, Lena's focus is on sustainable yarns from Europe. To start with, she is offering Bavarian merino wool, among other things, and will gradually expand her range with other environmentally friendly alternatives. "I want to create a place where people of all ages can come together, exchange ideas and try out new things - with high-quality yarns and an awareness of sustainable knitting culture," says Lena.

In addition to the wool range, Lena's Wollstube will be a meeting place. Regular knitting meetings, workshops and creative events are planned in order to discover new things together and strengthen the knitting community in Bremen.

Everyone is cordially invited to the opening on April 5 from 12 noon. Over snacks and drinks, there will be an opportunity to get to know the new Wollstube, discover upcoming events and be inspired.
