On August 16 and 17, 2025, raum hoch drei celebrates its opening weekend in the heart of Leipzig-Connewitz. The new space invites children, young people and adults to experience theater, movement and creative activities up close - and to rediscover themselves in the process. The offer ranges from regular courses to workshop formats and intensive vacation experiences. We work with a wide variety of freelancers and cooperation partners and want to strengthen the idea of community and cultural exchange in Leipzig.

We cordially invite you to our opening weekend:

Saturday, August 16 | 2-6 p.m. - hands-on day for all the senses

Creative, playful, moving: under the motto "Invent your figure - discover your power", Saturday offers a colorful hands-on program with four interactive stations:

"Invent your character" theater workshop - Craft your own theater character including voice, name and superpower from spoons, fabric scraps and wire.

Movement lab "Movement signs" - Find a gesture for freedom, strength or curiosity and put it on paper.

Art station "Pop-up art lab" - Be inspired by random materials and create your own work of art.

Future corner "Utopia wall" - Draw, write or make your vision for the future.

Saturday, August 16 | 6-8 p.m. - Light on! The vernissage of raum hoch drei

In the evening, the doors will open for a festive opening with music, improv theater, dance impulses and an exhibition of the first results from the hands-on day. Guests can immortalize themselves in the creative guest book, share their thoughts and enjoy snacks and drinks under atmospheric lighting.
