Were ersatzkopf actually shit? I once saw them as the support band for Team Scheisse, that's mainly why I was there. And then, unfortunately, they were really shit. Not even likeable shit. Just totally shit. But I heard that they never rehearsed either. I was disappointed afterwards. Such shit. Because the songs themselves are all great. But the show itself was about as inspiring as the nudelwerk in riesa...

ERSATZKOPF (Darmstadt) >>> Alternative | Punk

With songs like "Kiffverbot für Hippies" or "Null Euro Ticket", Ersatzkopf write easy-going punk songs that are peppered with criticism of society and the system. The band say about themselves that they are: "punk but in a bad way". They are serious about their preferred word "awesome". They use it several times on their EPs "Geil Geil Geil", "Geil für immer" and "Jung, geil und bereit für die Rente". Now the punk trio from Darmstadt are going on tour again this spring, touring from Regensburg to Potsdam. The only thing left to say is: awesome!
