World literature - told with sound!

Thanks to the RSB, the radioeins storytelling lounge has been expanded in the 24/25 season to include the radioeins storytelling concerts. In the second edition of the series, two classics of world literature are the focus of the narrative concerts under the direction of Oscar Jockel and Vladimir Jurowski. The literary radio format is musically enhanced by the large symphony orchestra.

This evening: "The Snowstorm" by Alexander Pushkin.
The actress Mechthild Großmann, known for her collaboration with Rainer Werner Fassbinder and from the ARD Tatort from Münster, leads us through the tragic, wintry story of the young Marja Gawrilowna and her love for Wladimir Nikolajewitsch. After winter (usually) comes spring.
