As a teacher and mayor of a community of 400 people in the heart of Brittany, Alice is working at full capacity. When the headstrong Émile, of all people, decides to learn to read and write at the age of 65 and sits in Alice's class, the barrel is full to overflowing. But it gets worse: all of a sudden her school is on the brink of closure. Now good advice is expensive. But if everyone pulls together and comes up with clever ideas, the impossible might just become possible... A touching comedy about what life is all about.
