Escape game in the museum

An interactive experience for everyone aged 12 and over

The escape game "Post it!" invites you to explore the history of freedom of expression in different times and political systems. Participants travel in a time machine to three key locations: 1943, 1986 and 2021, solving puzzles, discovering historical artifacts and learning how different media were used to express opinions.

The focus is on the activities of the resistance groups "Die Weiße Rose", "Die Rote Kapelle" and "Onkel Emil". In a media landscape that was governed by the same rules, leaflets and sticky notes were often the only way to disseminate public opinions. The game encourages players to compare these historical experiences with today's digital communication culture, in which expressing an opinion is seemingly just a click away.

In addition to the playful journey through time, the format offers space for discussions about the importance of freedom of opinion and the value of free discourse - then and now.

Age recommendation: from 12 years

Registration is not required.

"Post it!" is a project of the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb) in cooperation with the Weiße Rose Stiftung e. V. and the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin.
