Dear guests, dear connoisseurs,

We are delighted to welcome you again this year to the wine festival in the Stadtgarten in the heart of Essen - a festival that celebrates summer and indulgence in all its facets.

An enjoyable break from everyday life awaits you amidst the green backdrop of the Stadtgarten. Ten first-class winegrowers from different growing regions in Germany and even Italy invite you to discover their wines, which are produced with a great deal of love and skill. Whether fruity and fresh, strong and full-bodied or finely sparkling - the variety of wines on offer promises special moments of pleasure for every taste.

The culinary offer is complemented by four selected restaurateurs, who serve dishes to match the wines with creativity and passion. Whether small bites or hearty specialties - everyone who appreciates good food will find what they are looking for here.

But our festival is more than just a place for wine and culinary delights: it is a place of encounters, atmosphere and music. When the sun slowly sets and the light installations bathe the Stadtgarten in a warm, colorful light, a very special atmosphere unfolds. This is carried by atmospheric live music full of character.

Of course, we are also thinking of our roots: in addition to fine wines, there will be freshly tapped Stauder Pils - in the best tradition of the Ruhr region. The range of drinks is complemented by premium mineral water from Staatl. Fachingen - the perfect accompaniment to food and wine.

The Stadtgartenfest is a feast for all the senses - and we are delighted to be able to share this experience with you. Let yourself drift, enjoy the atmosphere, discover new favorite wines and culinary discoveries - and celebrate the most beautiful sides of summer with us.

Daisiana Lekatompessy

Daisiana Lekatompessy was born in Jakarta/Indonesia. She loves performing in small clubs with just a keyboard, saxophone and her voice, but can also be seen with the Gala Orchestra at the Leipzig Opera Ball. With her rousing performances and her mega voice, she quickly sings her way into the hearts of the audience!

Dennis LeGree

Dennis LeGree initially studied singing in his native Miami and trained as a singing teacher. In addition to musicals, his focus is on jazz, swing, blues, RnB, gospel and classical music. After working as a singing teacher in his home town for some time, he came to Germany for the musical STARLIGHT EXPRESS. In Bochum, he played the steam engine "Papa" in more than 700 performances.

Sir Jesse Lee Davis

Jesse is a singer, songwriter, composer, producer, graphic designer and publisher. Even though he always flies back to America to visit his family or to celebrate studio sessions with old musician colleagues, he feels at home here in Germany.

Lexine

Lexine is a singer and songwriter from Leichlingen in the Rhineland. She entered a recording studio for the first time at the age of 14 and began writing her own song lyrics. In 2007, at the age of 21, she released the song "This is me", which has been downloaded more than 70,000 times on the Internet.

Andreas Schleicher Duo

The Andreas Schleicher Duo - consisting of singer, guitarist and vocal coach Andreas Schleicher and multi-instrumentalist Jörg Hamers - inspires with rousing songs, emotional stories and the sound of a whole band. With six instruments played simultaneously and many years of stage experience, they deliver energetic concerts full of humor and passion. Known from the "Popolski Show" and TV formats such as "The Masked Singer", they stand for handmade music and an authentic live atmosphere.
