Museum tour with the director of the institute

Sascha Förster, the director of the Hofgartenhaus Düsseldorf Theater Museum, takes interested visitors on a tour of the museum's current exhibitions. The tour starts on the first floor with the permanent exhibition 1904 to 1947: Change between Awakening & Archive. This permanent exhibition presents the fascinating stories of the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf (Dumont-Lindemann), a unique modernist reform project founded in 1904. Embedded in this exhibition is the project Die Pappel im Wind by the artist Christoph Westermeier about the dancer and actor Ernst Heimrath (1905-1945). The tour then moves to the second floor of the Hofgartenhaus, where Sascha Förster will introduce you to the current special exhibition Exzellente Fußarbeit. Ballett am Rhein meets Fortuna Düsseldorf . Excellent footwork is a photo exhibition with pictures that capture the perfect moments of movement.
