Based on the radio play of the same name by Charlotte Simon, Nina Addin and Christina Anders
Theater concert with live music
After the great success of the first theater concert, the sequel is finally coming. The directing duo of Christina Anders and Cristiana Garba are also staging the third part of the Eule radio play series.
Music is the language of emotions. Owl finds this out in the third part of her exciting journey through the world of music - because she wants to write her first ukulele song! But how do you even do that?
In her search for answers to what it takes to compose her first song, Owl not only puts on a concert in the forest, she also meets a whole new set of musical friends. Each with a different feeling in their luggage that has its very own beat. She encounters feelings such as love, joy and courage, but sadness, anger and fear also cross her path. By the end, Eule has learned a lot about feelings and realizes how good it is to express them through music.
While the show for the first radio play explores the boundaries between theater, concert and interactive party, Anders and Garba's production of the third part focuses on emotions. "It's important to us to literally bring the audience close to the emotions," say the directing duo. However, this will not change the live musical experience for the young audience. With their well-rehearsed team of five, there will once again only be live performances of songs.
