Eunyoung Kim & Okkyung Lee

With Eunyoung Kim on piano and Okkyung Lee on cello, two special Korean musicians of jazz improvisation will play a unique concert together in Berlin. After her musical studies in the USA, Eunyoung Kim has made a name for herself in the Korean jazz scene since 2013, and in 2016 she was voted "Rising Star Pianist" by "Jazz People Magazine" in Korea. As a cellist and composer, Okkyung Lee moves freely between the worlds of jazz, improvisational music and Korean traditional music. This year, Okkyung Lee is an Award Fellow of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program. - At the concert they will be accompanied by Nick Dunston on bass.
