A nameless self walks through the ruins of civilization, asking about the root of the catastrophe. How could it come to this, when it foresaw everything, knew everything? In a rhythmic, musical journey, he questions the human belief in progress and ends up in the heart of European colonialism. The Spanish conquistadors on their search for Eldorado are combined with the addicts of the American opioid crisis, greed for profit with the longing for redemption of desperate people in a society that has run dry, that knows about its downfall - and yet does not act.
