Europa-Radtour: Von der Berliner Moderne im Neuköllner Süden zu europäischen Perspektiven des Wohnens von gestern, heute und morgen

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus School in Dessau, MEP Gaby Bischoff is once again leading a European cycle tour this spring with tour guide Axel von Blomberg.
Axel is the author of various cycling guides and offers cycling tours in and around Berlin for the ADFC and the Berlin Center for Industrial Heritage (bzi), among others.

This year, the bike tour will focus on Berlin Modernism and European perspectives on living. With the convening of the special committee to combat the housing crisis, the EU Parliament is sending out a signal that we should finally take a European approach to housing!

Here is the important information in a nutshell:
European bike tour, on Saturday, May 31, 2025 | 10.30 a.m. to approx. 4 p.m.

"100 years of Bauhaus in Dessau - From Berlin Modernism in the south of Neukölln to European perspectives on living yesterday, today and tomorrow"

Meeting point: 10:30 a.m. | Grünau S-Bahn station
End: approx. 16:30 | Tempelhofer Feld, Tempel Garten

We start in Grünau and travel via the colorful Tuschkastensiedlung and the famous Hufeisensiedlung to Tempelhofer Feld. There we end the tour together in the "Tempel Garten" beer garden.

We will take a lunch break about halfway along the route, the exact location will be announced. With a length of approx. 25 km, this bike tour is suitable for all fitness levels.
We cycle mainly on paved cycle paths that do not require any special skills or equipment.
Participation in the bike tour is free of charge. Please bring enough water and sunscreen.
