Heartfelt music and jazzed up blues
The Love Train rolls in again and stops at the Theaterstübchen for the fourth time!
When Eva takes to the stage, the audience experiences more than just a musical performance. Together with her great band, she creates her own world of emotions, sound and stories. She throws herself into it, lives the moment by dancing and singing and presents her music in the spirit of the philosopher Alan Watts:
"To know reality, you cannot stand outside of it and define it. You have to enter it, be it and feel it."
For this concert, Eva has once again put together a first-class team of musicians. These excellent instrumentalists are not only passionate companions, but also humorous interaction partners who create an unforgettable atmosphere. Thus, a musical experience becomes a journey that is carried by the elemental force of love and courageously deals with the depths of human existence without being heavy-handed. The HNA aptly described it as "adding a dash of vitalizing dawn to the blues rainbow" or "when the blues begins to laugh".
Particularly noteworthy is the Hammond legend Roland Oumard, who is a permanent member of the ever-changing band. Another highlight of the evening will be saxophonist Michael Frei, the only non-regional artist to make the journey from Bonn. His "wonderfully soft solos" (HNA) are now a permanent fixture on the Love Train. Bass and guitar provide the right feeling and the original vintage groove with their imaginative playing, while the heartbeat of the songs is created on the drums. This energy surprises and inspires at the same time. The audience can look forward to authentic music that includes their own compositions as well as newly interpreted blues classics with a jazzy touch. These include well-known pieces by Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Donny Hathaway. The focus here is not only on the musicians, but also on the community of like-minded people who celebrate the pure moment together, which rarely comes to life as tangibly as in music.
So all aboard please!
