Who am I when no one is watching me? Arthur Rimbaud already knew that I am always someone else. The "I" is different when dancing with friends. Different at work, different alone in front of the mirror, different as a daughter, mother, aunt, father, brother. What roles do I play in my life? Which ones have I chosen, which ones have been assigned to me and where do I surprise myself?

For one week, one hour per evening, Doris Dörrie will help with experiences and impulses to give writing a fixed place in everyday life and to awaken one's own spontaneity and creativity. The exercises revolve around one's own self, one's own critic and one's own pig dog - they should stay outside the door when it comes to finding one's writing self and consolidating one's own tone.

The filmmaker and writer DORIS DÖRRIE repeatedly invites people to write. In her books "Leben, schreiben, atmen" (2019) or "Die Reisgöttin und andere Mitbringsel" (2024), for example, or in our popular online workshop.
