Exklusive Einblicke ins Schiedsrichterdasein: NDR lädt zur Preview von „UNPARTEIISCH 2“ in Hamburg ein

Their job is probably the most difficult on the soccer field. Week after week, referees are at the center of heated discussions. They are tackled on the pitch, insulted in the stadium and on social media. And yet they have to be confident and assertive on the pitch again for the next match. Two years ago, Das Erste showed the first season of "UNPARTEIISCH", which followed well-known German referees. Now the series is being continued. The six episodes of "UNPARTEIISCH 2" can be seen from mid-August in the ARD Mediathek and on Das Erste. Before that - on Wednesday, August 6 - NDR is inviting viewers to an exclusive cinema preview of the documentary at Kinopolis HafenCity in Hamburg. Sports show presenter

Lea Wagner will host the evening. Tickets for the screening are not available for free sale and will be sold exclusively by lottery. Anyone wishing to attend the event can take part in the lotteries at ndr.de/preview until July 29 at 12:00 noon.

In addition to the protagonists of the series, Felix Brych, Fabienne Michel and Florian Exner, head referee Knut Kircher and FIFA referees Florian Badstübner and Harm Osmers will be present at the preview.

In "UNPARTEIISCH 2", Felix Brych, Florian Exner and Fabienne Michel, among others, will provide exclusive insights. The radio traffic on the field can be heard, a bodycam brings the referees' perspective to life, they talk about dealing with pressure and their personal career dreams.

All episodes of "UNPARTEIISCH 2" will be available in the ARD media library from August 15. Broadcasting on ARD will start on August 18.
