It's that time of year again on June 28: the Night of Industrial Culture will light up the Ruhr metropolis - and we'll be there, of course! Celebrate industrial culture with us in a very special place: the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum is opening its doors once again for the Extraschicht and invites you to an unforgettable evening full of highlights.
Come along and look forward to great program items, exciting experiences and a unique ambience between industrial history and modern staging.

The new program concept of ExtraSchicht 2025 in the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum offers visitors a continuous experience without fixed time limits. The aim is to enable individual exploration and invite active participation.

Highlights:

• Light installation (18:00-02:00):
  The main hall becomes a digital world of light with interactive elements, lounges and workshops.
• Music in the poplar forest (18:00-02:00):
  The forest on the forecourt becomes an atmospheric dance and chill area with live music.
• Food Truck Festival (18:00-02:00):
  International culinary delights accompanied by music on the forecourt.
• Underworlds guided tours (18:00-00:00):
  Extended guided tours through the impressive underground areas of the hall (not barrier-free).
• Rave Night (from 22:00):
  Electronic music in the Turbinenhalle as the grand finale to the night.
