Extrawelt

In the organizer's words:

Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe have been living and breathing electronic music for more than twenty years now, carving out a piece of its history and showing us that in the broad spectrum of dance music, where the normal world ends, Extrawelt begins. Starting out as DJs, they found their way to production in the studio of their Hamburg colleague X-Dream. The inspiration they took from these first sessions soon flowed into projects such as "Midimiliz" and "Spirallianz", both of which achieved considerable success in the scene. In 2005, however, they started a new project called Extrawelt, which took them down a new musical path. The very first production under this new name, "Soopertrack", ended up in the hands of James Holden, who released ti on his renowned Border Community label. This groundbreaking single paved the way for an extraordinary career that has included a plethora of records, remixes and countless live shows in the most interesting clubs and festivals around the globe.
