Sludge metal pioneers Eyehategod are returning to Germany! On June 9, 2025, the band from New Orleans will lay waste to the stage of Helios37 in Cologne. For over three decades, Eyehategod have stood for an incomparable sound: a dark mixture of dirty doom, punky hardcore and nihilistic noise that covers the audience like hot tar.

Characterized by heavy, dragging riffs, distorted bass lines and the tortured vocals of Mike IX Williams, Eyehategod create an atmosphere of decay and rage that hardly any other band conveys with such intensity. Their influence on the sludge genre is undeniable - with classics such as Take as Needed for Pain (1993) or Dopesick (1996), they have set milestones that still shape the scene today. Their latest album also shows that they have lost none of their uncompromising energy.

Eyehategod's live performances are raw, cathartic experiences - a mixture of chaos, aggression and hypnotic trance. If you like dark, destructive sounds, you should definitely not miss this concert!
