Networks permeate our world - visible and invisible, ordered and chaotic. They connect people, cities, data centers and natural spaces. The exhibition explores the dynamic structures and patterns that make up networks: the spread of invasive plants, the densification of urban spaces, the branched network of industrial production, the constant movement of digital information, images and ideas, but also the spread of environmentally hazardous processes and armed conflicts.
Order and chaos do not exist as opposites, but as forces that shape, develop or destabilize networks. The photographs in this exhibition make these dynamics visible, showing patterns, breaks and transitions - the fragile balance between structure and chance that defines our networked world.
