The tour starts in the heart of Wülfrath. Picturesque half-timbered houses and the many slate-clad façades that give the Niederberg region its special charm await you there.
As you stroll through the narrow streets, you will learn a lot about the past and present of the town. The mining of limestone, the region's "white gold", has always played a major role. You will visit Krapp's Teich, a truly idyllic place and the historic Wareplatz.
Want more history? Then you can visit the Niederberg Museum at the end and gain a deep insight into the fascinating world of life and work in the 19th century.
