The lecture performance "Fackel oder Das Feuer In Uns" by Benjamin Jakob Enders and Leonard Schmidt-Dominé deals with torches and how to use them correctly. Used primarily as a source of light at the beginning of human history, the torch has undergone a profound change in meaning over the course of time: from a supposedly purely utilitarian object to an aesthetic tool. A related form to the torch is the match: publisher Chrizzi Heinen (Vakant Verlag) presents the essay "The Burning Match" by Luise Maloneau - a poetic exploration of psychological decision-making and economic contexts surrounding the "TBM" method. This will be followed by an artist talk with the participants.
