Molotov Zitrone Tour 2025

FAHNENFLUCHT - a band that has been an integral part of German-language punk rock since the turn of the millennium - announces their new album "Molotov Zitrone".

On September 13, 2024, the band released their seventh studio album, which has been known for almost 25 years for its sharp-witted lyrics, energetic songs and gripping live shows, all of which have always been paired with their tireless commitment to political and social issues. "Think everything differently" is the motto of the song "The Great Reset" - FAHNENFLUCHT take this to heart themselves and so on "Molotov Zitrone" they manage to rethink themselves and their music in 13 new songs, breaking genre boundaries and showing unexpected facets without losing sight of themselves and their own origins.

The band comments: "An album is always a snapshot, a kind of collective diary entry of the band's history. In this respect, it's almost impossible NOT to reinvent ourselves a little with every album. Political developments such as the increasing shift to the right in Europe and warmongering play a role for us, but also personal experiences in the form of collected private tragedies and comedies. All of this is then pushed through the 'FAHNENFLUCHT filter' and pressed onto the record, because in the end all that matters to us is that we can find ourselves in the songs and stand behind them."

The album title "Molotov Zitrone" reflects the mixture of explosive energy and bittersweet reflection that permeates the album's music and lyrics. FAHNENFLUCHT are musically extremely versatile: alongside classic, guitar-heavy hardcore punk tracks, there are synthesizer sounds, balalaika and vocoder - all supported by energetic drums and the typically distinctive vocals of singer Thomas. On "Molotov Zitrone", the band presents a sound that has arrived in the year 2024, breaking up the tried-and-tested punk rock foundation and expanding it piece by piece.

LANDSLIDE DIARY

Landslide Diary is a group of friends from various punk and metal bands (The Prosecution, Anti Peewee, Corinore, Settle Down) who like to reminisce about parties where they woke up the next morning without much memory and completely dehydrated in front of a charred open fire. However, the whole thing has little to do with nostalgia. After all, they still beat their knees bloody in the surrounding skate parks after band rehearsals and celebrate life, even if it goes by far too quickly. Lyrically, their songs are not a seminar on English literature. They are conversations at the bar, friends talking about the comedies and tragedies of life. Love, friendship, depression, wanderlust but also homesickness - life writes so many exciting, sad and funny stories. You don't have to go to the theater to tell them. Sometimes the little pub next door and a handful of good friends are enough to carry you through life.

SCHLACHTRUF 1.3.1.2.

The four men *guys from Schlachtruf 1.3.1.2. take every opportunity to portray themselves in their songs - which often deal with forgotten but important topics - with a good dose of self-irony. Their critical lyrics, aggressive sound and humor form a mixture that is unparalleled in punk rock. After almost twelve years of creative abstinence, the now above-average hairy band is back and proves: "Punk is not dead - it was just out for a cigarette!"
