Bicycle Stage Festival in Hans-Jonas-Park in Mönchengladbach: contrasting sounds and harmonious vibes!

On August 22 and 23 , 2025 , Kultur am Fließband will transform part of Hans-Jonas-Park into a lively stage for the Bicycle Stage Festival. Look forward to two days full of multi-faceted sounds that complement each other perfectly and yet contrast with each other in an exciting way - for a harmonious overall experience!

Friday evening (August 22, 7-9 pm) opens the festival with a wonderful contrast: experience the gentle, acoustic indie pop of Tett, followed by the fascinating, psychedelic space rock sounds of The E.T. Hotline Project.

Tett, known for his heartfelt philosophy "My concerts welcome everyone with any destiny - whether teenage girl or old hippie, beggar or bonze", promises an emotional experience that can already be heard on his releases and earned him 2nd place at the Dieter Wasilke Folk-Förderpreis (2023) and 1st place at the Peter Rohland Singewettstreit (2024).

The E.T. Hotline Project create a fusion of beats, synthesizers and effect-laden guitar sounds and transport their listeners to other spheres - a mixture that is reminiscent of Pink Floyd and Santana and has already won awards at newcomer contests. Here, earthy melody meets cosmic expanse, forming an impressive harmony.

On Saturday, August 23 (4 pm - 2 pm), the festival continues with a relaxed afternoon and an atmospheric evening that celebrates the entire spectrum of musical contrasts. You can expect a groovy DJ set by Akademixer, followed by a concert by Max Mehoni, who will impress with his strong lyrics and rap techniques, as well as a "Der Raum Show-Case" with the Mönchengladbach musicians Tagmata & Kratzwerk -an electronic live performance that creates exciting contrasts with dark atmospheres and sharp rhythms.

Akademixer & Friends will then bring the evening to a close with relaxed and driving songs. A musical journey in which the different genres come together in perfect harmony.
