False Lefty are a not-so-new newcomer band, a duo to be precise, namely Veva, who plays her three drums standing up, and Tom, singer and guitarist, who strings his guitar with only three strings: The question here is obviously not what good music needs, but what it doesn't need.
Since their formation in the fall of 2022, the two have played their way through the clubs not only of North Rhine-Westphalia, but also at festivals such as Bochum Total, Burg Herzberg Festival, Orange Blossom Special and Traumzeit Festival and provided support for Public Image Ltd, The Lathums, SONS, Cash Savage and the last Drinks, Fortuna Ehrenfeld and many others.
Fortuna Ehrenfeld is a good keyword anyway, as they recently recorded their debut EP "You're Welcome" with singer Martin Blechler. He has tailored such a tasteful noise appeal to the two of them that is (far too) rarely heard in this country. Today they are playing in Wiesbaden for the first time
