This concert illustrates the colorful hustle and bustle of Latin America in a musical way. The music is diverse with a sense of freedom and experimentation, with many dances originating in these countries. There is an emphasis on rhythm, which is strong and central to the compositions. Together with the orchestra and Colombian conductor Ana Maria Patiňo-Osorio, presenter and music lover Malte Arkona explores the selected compositions in a humorous and informative way.
