Familienkonzert: Im Land der Götter

In the organizer's words:

We find ourselves in the land of Titans and gods: the Titan Prometheus succeeds in stealing the magical fire of the mighty father of the gods, Zeus, and using it to bring two clay statues to life. The newly awakened creatures, two humans, are missing something crucial: they have neither mind nor feelings. He therefore asks the god Apollo and the Muses for help. They give the humans a love of art, the joy of music and the wisdom to understand the world. What an exciting adventure!

The famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven transformed this exciting tale from Greek mythology into music. With his ballet music "The Creatures of Prometheus", we can experience the story of the Titan at first hand.

There will be a craft activity with Jacqueline Koschnitzki-Pflanz at all family symphony concerts from 3 pm.
