Program:
"Poseidon and the Plastic Sea" - a musical environmental fairy tale for children aged 10 and over: Opera collage for 4 singers, piano accompaniment and percussion with music by Georg Friedrich Händel, Giuseppe Verdi, Richard Wagner, Gabriel Fauré and Charles Trenet on the theme of water and the sea
Poseidon rules the seas as a beloved king and has two daughters: Anemone and Coralia. But one day, Coralia falls seriously ill and the court physicians are at a loss. The king is very worried and announces that whoever finds a cure for his daughter Coralia will be allowed to marry her. Prince Coca Coola doesn't need to be told twice - after all, he has been in love with Coralia for years. Accompanied by the curious Anemone and the court genie, he immediately sets off in search of her. On their way, they meet many interesting sea creatures and experience exciting adventures, but will they also find the cure? This musical environmental fairy tale for young and old by Ensemble Pariser Flair uses original recycled instruments and costumes made from garbage and plastic to address the highly topical issue of plastic pollution in the sea in a fairytale-like and imaginative way.
