This group began like many of thefiner things in life, by complete accident. Separate chance meetings (one on abus and one in a bar) brought us together. We have been close friends andplaying music together since the summer of 2015. There was never a 'plan' forhow we should play together, or what material. The nature of the music we playhas progressed as intuitively as it began.

By writing this I don't mean to convey a sense of lack of direction to the group; simply to explain that wehave never tried to force the music in a particular direction. Everything is open to interpretation, and no two nights are the same.

Discovering our mutual love ofthe music of Duke Ellington, as well as other great jazz composers such asThomas 'Fats' Waller, Thelonious Monk and Herbie Nichols, has helped shape thegroup's sound. The paired sensations of Free Jazz and the sense of joy weexperience when we play together I can safely say that the trio has come tohave a distinctive sound.
Free admission - it is suggested to give an appropriate cultural contribution.
Free entry - it is suggested to give some money if you like the band.
