In the organizer's words:

farbberauscht - that means letting yourself be drawn into the maelstrom of color worlds, immersing yourself in the intoxication of colors and the feelings associated with them, just like the artists in the painting process.

In the exhibition "farbberauscht" by art education students Andrea Klieber and Veronika Wendebourg, the viewer is immersed in the many facets of human feeling. Fields of color merge on large canvases and form shapes from which human contours and expressive faces emerge. These works are a direct challenge to engage with one's own emotional world, but also with that of others - away from intellectual analysis and towards perceptive understanding.

The frequent encounters in the university's painting room were the starting point of Andrea Klieber and Veronika Wendebourg's strong community. Today, the artists give direct expression to their feelings and impressions on large canvases. In expressive, harmonious color compositions, the two art education students show their inner worlds and invite viewers to explore their own.

The vernissage will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 7 - 9 pm.
