90-year-old Faruk learns that his house in Istanbul is to be demolished as part of an urban renewal program. Faruk's daughter wants to make a movie about this demolition - with Faruk as the main character. As Faruk tries to delay the demolition, the line between reality and fiction gradually becomes blurred. The fictional documentary, based on real people and events, explores not only the effects of gentrification, but also the complexity of the father-daughter relationship.
