In the organizer's words:
The popular music formation Banana Boat provides a rousing musical program at the annual carnival ball. Other highlights of the evening are the impressive performances by the elevens of the Regina Rüger ballet school and the current prince and princess Michaela II (Dr. Michaela Hämmerle) and Christian IV (Christian Deussen) from the Narrhalla carnival society, accompanied by their prince guard. Original costumes are particularly appreciated in Trudering, which is why a prize is awarded for the best, funniest or most unusual costume of the evening. There is dancing and partying all evening and into the night.
