Fashion Revolution Weeks

At the main event of the Fashion Revolution Weeks on 27 April, the Karlstorbahnhof in Heidelberg will be transformed into a creative hotspot for sustainable fashion and invites you to a varied program with information events, clothes swaps, live music, creative workshops, fashion shows and much more!

The Fashion Revolution movement emerged after the tragic collapse of the Rana Plaza textile factory in Bangladesh on April 24, 2013. Over 1,100 people - mostly young women - died and 2,500 others were injured. This disaster tragically highlighted the precarious working conditions in the fashion industry. But even today, the conventional fashion industry is still based on the exploitation of workers and natural resources. The Fashion Revolution movement is campaigning for a fairer and more sustainable fashion system in around 80 countries.
