Fatigateau

Faster, higher, further. This is how young people perceive today's world and fear that they will no longer be able to keep up with this pace and the associated demands. In FATIGATEAU, the award-winning Bonn-based junior company explores the multi-layered dimensions of exhaustion in its tenth, but first completely independently developed artistic piece. According to their own statements, it is based on the feeling of having to race through life like a robot and having to function, having too little time for oneself and others and yet actually being too exhausted to meet the high expectations of a young, dynamic and positive generation.

Since 2013, Junior Company Bonn has developed into a "space of opportunity" for young people between the ages of 8 and 22. Their skills and potential have grown from project to project. Above all, however, the young people have embraced dance as a way of life in which freedom and self-confidence can be shaped and experienced, while at the same time focusing on the artistic. Prizes and multiple invitations to guest performances confirm the success of this extraordinary concept.
