The Komische Oper's opera dolmus comes to the Mühlenhaupt Höfe:

Fatma & Fatoş is a collaborative work by Selam Opera and contemporary witnesses from Berlin's urban society. The story is based on the personal memories of women who often came to Germany with nothing but wild courage to seek their fortune here. On their own, working hard, hostile and misunderstood, but also admired, assertive, finding love and creating a future. Women's voices are at the heart of this production, transforming the attempt to arrive into operatic song. Major life themes such as home, identity, prejudices and self-awareness can be found in this piece, told using the example of a fictional character and treated in a tongue-in-cheek, comic-opera style.
