FEDERATION OF THE GROOVE

The name says it all! Between funk and fusion, the musicians around the versatile exceptional pianist and organist Martin Sasse and the Cologne guitarist Bruno Müller (Till Brönner, Mezzoforte, Max Mutzke) conjure up a "pithy groove" on stage that "presses boldly forward", as the Kölnische Rundschau writes. Sasse and Müller have known each other for decades, which explains their relaxed familiarity that makes this music take off. Claus Fischer, who played bass for Stefan Raab's Heavytones for many years, and Hendrik Smock, who also plays drums for Roachford, lay the foundations. The Rundschau's verdict: "infinitely precise".
